Well, my first posting. I've finally arrived in the 21st. Century. Greetings to all of you out there in the blogosphere. If you're a liberal, be prepared to hate me. If you're a conservative we'll find much to agree on.

i could rant for days about this immigration sell-out that the Congress is in the process of foisting upon us. I feel most betrayed by the President. I expect wrong-headedness from the libs, but...et tu, GOP ? The Left just wants a bunch of new Democratic voters (which they will likely get)--- but the Republican party is being just as shortsighted. Big Business seems to have them convinced that the cheap labor is worth all the bad that will come with it. Does anyone have any backbone any more ?!? Even the Catholic bishops are cynically getting in on it (gee, most Mexicans are Catholic, what a coincidence).

When Pat Buchanan broke away from the party, I lost a lot of respect for him.(Irish Catholics like myself often annoy me as much as not-- viz. Ted Kennedy, et al) But some months  ago I read State of Emergency, and I had to admit he was right on the money. We are in danger of losing our national identity, our culture, and our economic strength due to this flood of folks pouring over our border. And nobody in Washington is paying any  attention.

I have come up with what I feel is an excellent course of action to handle this mess. Hope to post it in a day or two.
